In a recent episode of comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show, “India’s Got Latent,” YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, has come under intense scrutiny for posing an inappropriate question to a contestant. The episode featured prominent content creators such as Ashish Chanchlani and Apoorva Mukhija. During the show, Allahbadia asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” This question quickly went viral, leading to widespread criticism on social media platforms.
Renowned audio storyteller and author Neelesh Misra was among those who condemned the remark. He expressed his concerns on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “This content is not designated as adult content—it can be seen with ease even by a child if the algorithm takes him or her there. The creators or the platform have zero sense of responsibility.”
As of now, neither Ranveer Allahbadia nor Samay has publicly addressed the controversy. This incident follows another recent controversy involving “India’s Got Latent,” where a contestant from Arunachal Pradesh faced legal action after making a controversial comment about dog meat. An FIR was filed over the insensitive statement made by the contestant on the show.
