Vietnam’s homegrown EV manufacturer Vinfast has officially debuted in India with the launch of its first two products – the Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs. With eye-catching design, long driving ranges, and aggressive pricing, Vinfast is aiming straight at the heart of India’s fast-growing EV market.
The company recently set up its manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, signaling its long-term commitment to India. Bookings for both SUVs opened in July 2025 at Rs 21,000, and deliveries are expected to begin soon.
