The first GTA 6 trailer, which dropped in December 2023, has already raised massive expectations among fans, garnering almost 250 million views. In spite of this hype, Rockstar has kept a studious silence after the trailer. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick justified that the company will hold back on further marketing until nearer the release of the game to keep the hype and anticipation going.
Expect GTA 6 Release Date
Rockstar has been tight-lipped about what this new trailer will entail, but from leaks and speculation, fans are expecting:
1. More Story Details: The first trailer introduced the series’ female protagonist, Lucia, and a Bonnie and Clyde-inspired crime story. This time we may get to see more of her partner and how they came to be where they are.
2. Enlarged Map Reveal: GTA 6 takes place in Leonida, an imagined version of Florida, with Vice City at its heart. The new trailer may reveal additional locales, including said locales based on Miami Beach, the Everglades, and the Florida Keys.
3. Gameplay Footage: While the initial trailer was cinematic, the second may finally introduce gameplay mechanics and let us see how the game will play in practice.
