Salman Khan’s Eid release action thriller Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Rashmika Mandanna alongside him, finally got released on March 30, 2025. Sikandar encountered tough competition from Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which had a better opening of ₹31 crore. This indicates changing viewer tastes and more competition at the box office even for star-oriented films.
